It has been a really really long time since I blogged here and I super missed it. I promised myself (it’s even one of my new year’s resolutions) that I’m going to blog more often but then again, I failed. Just like how I failed to understand my father. I just had a row with my father today. I didn’t mean to offend him or anything. My intentions were way far from that. He was just too sensitive and overprotective. I want to understand him and all that but I just can’t bear it when he tells me that I don’t know how to make them happy. It’s just like telling me that all I did was nothing for him. NOTHING. Gawd, I went through tough times just to pass those awful, dreadful semesters just to hear him say, he is proud. I was on the verge of shouting at him but I didn’t. I just kept my mouth shut and closed my eyes pretending to sleep. He was after all, busy, driving me home.

On a lighter note, I won a free domain + hosting from http://runawayrobot.org, Isha’s site.

This is the first online contest that I’ve won and the prize is way too amusing and awesome.

This domain will be my first too so a lot of kisses and hugs to Isha for making this dream of having my own domain, a reality. YEY! Join me in my celebration. CHEERS! nyahaha

Whoah! I just want to share this to everyone that finally I met Boi’s sister, Haide. We (me and Boi) bumped into her when we were on our way out of the gate of their apartment. FINALLY. We didn’t talk much though, just a simple hello and introductions and then bye’s. I really wanted to meet her but I never had the courage, you know. It’s kinda scary when you meet the people close to the person you love like meeting your boy’s family. (LOL) I was really scared of the what-if’s I had in mind like maybe they will not like me or they’ll hate me because of something i did inappropriately. GAH! Ok, I want to impress his family. THERE. (LOL)

But really, I have to keep in mind that all I need is to be myself and try not to please everyone because eventually, I’ll end up pleasing no one. Right?

somebody loved

Have you heard the song somebody loved by the weepies? In case you have heard it, what i’m feeling right now resembles the lyrics of that song. I first heard it in an advertisement in ETC for Married Away and i went ga-ga over the song because the melody and everything about it sound so right and calm. So i googled it and downloaded it right away and i can’t stop listening to it until now. Whenever i listen to it, I’d feel so grateful and blessed that there are people who will miss me when i’m dead (sounding so morbid, eh?) and people who wouldn’t even want me to be dead like my family, friends. But one person constantly reminds me tangibly of how important i am to him and that is Boi, my CHUBBY love. (LOL) As for this week, the 9th week of 2009, my update would be this:

It’s a bit blurry though, blame the cameraphone. (LOL) It’s a letter from him written at the back of picture taken during our promenade. Anyway, here is what it says:

Familiar? It might be because he told me it came from a song. He wrote it during our class. It was so unexpected, spontaneous and suh-weet. I really love spontaneous paper notes. It makes you think that that person is thinking about you at that moment and that truly puts a smile on my face. Thanks Chubby! I know you’ll be reading this. (LOL) You’re prolly thinking why would he write something like that, that’s because he knows me so well. I easily get depressed, dodgy and even sometimes, to the point of hurting myself to be relieved of the shitty pain and who wants to go through that, right? Somehow, I feel so happy and blessed to have someone who makes me feel not alone, who assures me constantly that he is there, who truly makes me feel somebody loved.

Moving on, here is the picture at the back of the letter:

I’m getting hooked to saying “bloody” lately, sounding british-like and i don’t know why actually. (LOL) But inspite of the crappiness, I love that picture. VERY MUCH.

A Night Of Glitz and Glamour

On Feb. 21, 2009, A Night of Glitz and Glamour the Velez College Juniors-Seniors Prom happened. It was a night of not only those things but of VANITY too. It was my first-ever prom and I was uber excited and a little nervous. I arrived earlier than the people assigned for the registration, I’m REALLY NOT THAT EXCITED. (LOL) Alas, when 7 o’clock striked, gradually people came and flooded the red carpet. People talking, cameras flashing, dashing debonaires and sparkling divas were all over the place. And of course, I was one of them. (LOL)

This is my blogworthy picture of week 8 of the year 2009.

That’s me and my chubby. We’ve been practicing that pose for weeks, mind you. (LOL) We were both so early because he had to set-up together with the band and me, im early just because I’m NOT that excited. The food we’re great, people clearly enjoyed the videos that the 3rd year and the 4th year had made and of course the slideshows, showing pictures of how it is to be a MedTech student in Velez. For a while, I was proud of being one of the people in that room….

Anyway, I could never forget the moment when Boi sang “Save the Last Dance For Me”, inspite of the embarassment he’ll feel from the people in that room, he still sang it for me. THANK YOU BOI. <3 And again, you made my day but in this case, you made my night.

PS. I would like to thank my family for the support (moral and ehem, financial haha) and love especially to my sister for my hair and make-up and for helping me choose this dress I’m wearing. THANKS. MWAH!

I have discovered this in my friend’s mulitply blog. And i found it interesting. What you do is you google your name with the “needs” word and then voila! You’ll get results that will make you sport a straight face or even make your jaw drop. (LOL) Mine went like this:

16. a bunny parka Neku cosplay (sure!!!! i’d love to be in a cosplay )

17. no introduction (ohkay…..)

18. new clutch (what clutch? haha)

I found this results up to the 4th page only because i find none at the fifth.

I did enjoy this stuff, it makes you think about stuff. (LOL)

Blood Type: O

I’m a Medical Technology student but still I don’t know what my blood type is until Boi made an effort to help me know. So he told her mother to bring some reagents and other stuff that will be use. This is my 7th week postworthy picture of the year 2009 which was taken at Boi’s house.

And here he is with the result saying I’m Blood Type O, the universal donor blood type. YEY!

That’s the syringe he used for extraction, the one stuck in his mouth (LOL). And the two reagents used to indicate the type (yellow and blue bottles) and that “I LOVE YOU” and smiley face at the bottom is written in my blood. Yeah, literally.

DOULUS

Doulus is the oldest ship sailing until now. It was built two years after Titanic had sunk. Imagine, that OLD.

And i went there with my close friends after we had our Rizal filming (which was really exhausting yet enjoying). Our last location for the film was in doulus. This is my 6th week blogworthy photo which was taken outside Doulus. I really enjoyed my stay there with these girls.

These are my close friends since high school. The best part is when Golda bought me a Bible as a gift. And the other best part is when Laui treated me to dinner in Pizza Hut as a blow-out for her very belated birthday (it was June last year, LOL). And another best part when Tinay can’t stop being her jolly self.

I love you guys, thanks for the awesome time.

i’m having another project and it’s Project123 that will be given to Boi this 1/23 because it will be our 100 days together. He doesn’t know about it yet and i hope he’ll be uber happy and surprise. Well, this project comprises of a handmade calendar and a list of hmmthing. i’d rather not say it here because maybe he’s lurking somewhere and i’ll spoil it for him. (LOL) as i was googling over the internet for calendar art or creative calendars, i saw this…

This calendar has the ability to show weeks, months, holidays, and time. A large hand shows the current date (and month too) and a little hand shows the current day of week (and current hour).

this calendar is really fantastic. you can have all that information in one. if i could make something like that for Boi then i’d rather not give it to him, i’ll keep it instead. (LOL) ok, seriously, i really wanted to give him that but unfortunately, its gonna cost me money and i was making him a personalized one anyway. that way, i think, it’s more romantic or hmm personalized? (LOL)

anyhow, i’m gonna post my personalized calendar for Boi here after i gave it to him this 23rd. i hope i’m gonna finish it before the deadliest line. i hope he’ll like it, too. *cross fingers*.

on another note, i am overhauling this one and see, new header and new layout. the header is edited a little by yours truly (actually, i only made the text part, haha) but all the work is credited to LORALYN LAU (she made the photo to look as beautiful as what you are looking at right now). i asked her to make me a new header for this blog and i know i’ll be getting it sooooon. i’m so excited, new headers FTW!

LOVE IT! It’s my first ever sunglasses. It’s a dickies one. I wanted to have one like Juno’s in the movie JUNO but i never seem to find one but when i saw this, i fell in love with it, instantly.

this would be my update for the second week of the year. and being the second week, classes started again. and i saw my boy again. i miss him too much. i haven’t seen him for two weeks because of the break. he went home to Bohol and i’m stuck here in Cebu, missing him.

YET, i happily received this when we met the first day of school for the year…

he never failed to surprise me. he never failed to make me smile.

it felt good, AWESOME even. Absence really do makes the heart grow fonder.
